   The diet we have chosen:

We had looked into many diets available when we started bringing pets into our lives. We wanted them to have happy, healthy, and long lives. After much research, we chose an all natural diet consisting of raw meats, bones, and dehydrated raw foods. We try to mimic the foods that they would be getting if they were eating if they were still out foraging themselves. We serve a combination of organ meats, meaty bones, fish, eggs, tripe, and small amounts of other dairy products, served with equal portions of dehydrated foods. Feeding this diet, our pets eat less because there are no FILLERS, also means less waste to clean up (a big bonus with multiple large pets ). This feeding method also helps to keep our pets teeth looking great.

We use www.thehonestkitchen.com (please tell them we sent you ). They use only human grade foods, by removing only the water content from the ingredients all other nutrients remain, and become highly concentrated. Dried foods are extremely nutritious, easy to prepare, store, and even our pickiest eaters love this. Please ask us for more information about this diet.

Another important part of our pet's diet is Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). This has the reddish-orange tint DO NOT BUT white vinegar; it has none of the beneficial elements listed above. ACV fights infection, and promote digestion. Fleas, flies, ticks, bacteria, external parasites, worms, etc., are unlikely to affect a dog that is acidic inside and out. ACV is concentrated with the healthy goodness of apples. It contains more than 30 important nutrients, 12 minerals, over 6 vitamins, essential acids and several enzymes; it has a large dose of pectin for a healthy heart. ACV is proving beneficial to animals with arthritis and hip dysplasia; it breaks down calcium deposits in the joints and mineralizes bones.

It is wonderful for itchy or dry skin. ACV diluted 50/50 with water can be applied directly to the affected area and allowed to dry. It will eliminate dandruff and dry skin. When bathing; rinse, then apply ACV, followed by rinsing with water (leave on like a dip if your pet has fleas), you will notice a soft sheen to the coat.

We add an eighth of a cup to each 5 gallons and no longer have those brown spots in the lawn from urine. For finicky pets try tiny doses then work your way up. You can mix 1/2 ACV and 1/2 water (a touch of lavender will make it smell nicer). Mix in a spray bottle and it makes a great fly/flea spray for pets.
